Ex-Nasarawa Speaker Urges Defectors to Return to APC Ahead of 2027
Former Nasarawa State House of Assembly Speaker Ibrahim Balarabe has appealed to aggrieved APC members who left the party to return and resolve their differences through dialogue. Speaking in Lafia, Balarabe reacted to the resignation of former Toto Local Government Area chairman Aliyu Abdullahi from the APC. He urged party members in the area to remain calm and prioritise peace. Balarabe said the APC's chances in Toto ahead of the 2027 elections depend on unity among its members. He asked defectors not to abandon a party they helped to build.
