Gunmen Kill Three Vigilante Youths in Pwomol Village, Plateau State
Three young men lost their lives in a deadly attack on Sunday night in Pwomol village, Heipang District, Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State. The Berom Youth Moulders Association confirmed the victims were on night watch when gunmen struck, leaving one other person injured and receiving treatment in hospital. BYM spokesperson Rwang Tengwong described the ambush targeting local vigilante youths. National President Barr. Dalyop Solomon Mwantiri condemned the violence and urged security agencies to carry out a thorough and transparent investigation into the incident. The group praised the swift response of the Special Task Force, Operation Enduring Peace, and called on residents to stay vigilant and report suspicious activity. The Berom Youth Moulders Association reaffirmed its commitment to protecting lives and seeking justice for communities across Berom land.
