Ejuke Features as Sevilla Edge Valencia 1-0 to Move Third in La Liga
Chidera Ejuke came on in the 63rd minute as Sevilla returned to winning ways with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Valencia in La Liga. Juan Iglesias scored the decisive goal in the 81st minute, heading home Giorgi Kochorashvili’s free-kick past Valencia goalkeeper Stole Dimitrievski. Valencia were without injured Nigerian forward Umar Sadiq. The result takes Sevilla to 10 points from five matches, leaving them third on the La Liga table. Valencia’s difficult start to the season continues after the narrow defeat.
