Troops from Sector 5, Sub-Sector 51, rescued a suspected motorcycle thief from an angry mob at Daffo Market in Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State. The troops responded to a distress call at about 5:20 p.m. on Tuesday, August 25, 2026. They found the suspect being assaulted by residents after a report of a stolen motorcycle. The suspect, who sustained injuries, was taken to hospital for treatment. Security officials are working to identify the owner of the recovered motorcycle as investigations continue.
