A Turkish pundit, Emre Bol, says Victor Osimhen’s injury absence has exposed Galatasaray’s dependence on the Nigerian striker. Galatasaray lost 4-0 to Trabzonspor after Osimhen missed his third consecutive match. Mohamed Salah scored a hat-trick and provided an assist, while coach Okan Buruk and Lesley Ugochukwu were sent off. Osimhen scored in each of Galatasaray’s opening four league matches before his injury. Bol argued that the forward’s goals and performances had helped cover wider weaknesses in the team.
