Edo Police Detain Man Over Death of Pregnant Partner in Uromi
The Edo State Police Command has detained a 40-year-old man in connection with the death of his eight-month pregnant partner in Uromi, Esan North East Local Government Area. Police said the woman had lived with the suspect for about a year before the incident. Her body was reportedly found by the roadside. The Commissioner of Police said community intelligence helped officers make the arrest. The suspect allegedly told journalists that he acted after having a dream, while police continue their investigation.
