Nigerian Model Recounts Airport Questioning Over His Green Passport

A Nigerian content creator and professional model says he was singled out for extra questioning at an international airport despite having a valid visa and an established travel record. He said immigration officers questioned his identity, reason for travel and intended length of stay after seeing his Nigerian passport. He was later taken aside for further checks, including calls to contacts listed in his visa application. The model said officers became satisfied only after they searched his name online and found evidence of his modelling work for international brands. He described the experience as upsetting and said Nigerian travellers often face added scrutiny abroad.
