I Broke Up With My Girlfriend, Is This A Good Decision ?
I'm seeking opinion for various reasons and one being that i don't want to make a huge mistake in my life. I have been dating her for about two years. We lived in the same house in school and she has helped me a lot too. At one time, she contributed to my school fees and at another time she raised money to foot some of my projects. She also supports us when ever i am low on cash but the problem is that our relationship was built on lies. She lied about her past and how she dated more men than i have ever met in my life before. She had sex with anything that called her on the road to exchange number even to a cripple. Well, she claimed she changed when she started our relationship. I was really doing well as a street boy but when she entered the relationship i got broke and broker with time. Not her fault sha and she has apologized for her past life and even sworn not to Bleep up again even though she slept with her ex and friend while we were barely 9 months in our relationship, i still over looked everything. I'm an orphan with no one in this world not even a friend, i have acquaintances on hustle basis and i have cut up connections with my homie long time ago when i had nothing and was looked at as a worthless shit. So, considering her age and her attitude at the very beginning of our friendship, i thought she would understand me. The real problem is that she doesn't motivate or inspire me at all. I am a junkie and she met me as such but never really care about it not even a move to stop me from it. She couldn't offer any financial advise, and pick quarrel when i want to table sensitive topics so i became frustrated. Also, even though she promised heaven and brimstone never ever to cheat again citing learning her lessons, she still reduces our conversation daily when she is out of town to her family house. She barely say anything meaningful. We barely talk on phone and it doesn't bother her but i know she would be desperate to be with me when school resumes. So yesterday i didn't call her and she didn't even text or flash me. And when we spoke today, i told her the relationship wouldn't work for reasons of emotional demands that she obviously wasn't ready to offer. She is a shallow girl and the type of girl that can only be used for sex and not as a partner. I'm feeling for her too, not really love as the parting doesn't even bother me at all, but being an orphan as she is, and leaving with an uncle that doesn't care much for her, i was expecting her to understand me. Last week, she told me she got a job as a waitress in an hotel and i was against it but still went ahead. The signs are obvious that she's either using me and seeing someone else too but also, everything has an explanation from her perspective. I don't know if i made the right decision or was told quick to make this decision.
