Why Igbos Should Rethink Condemning Seyi Tinubu’s Imo Visit
I strongly condemn any act that humiliates a visitor. In Igbo culture, respect for guests and in-laws is our identity. Put yourself in his shoes. As the president’s son, he came to mobilize youth and meet family. Staying away would not have stopped critics. We must also reconsider criticism of allies like Obi Cubana, Cubana Chief Priest, and Zenco. Loyalty and personal networks shape politics and business. Our real concern is how fast political disagreements become hostility among our people. Elections end, but relationships remain. Let Ohanaeze Ndigbo speak clearly for unity. Reflection, not division, should be our lesson.
