EFCC Recruitment Update: No Official 2026 Exercise Yet
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has not announced any recruitment exercise for 2026. The agency has also warned Nigerians against viral claims of a secret recruitment process, stressing that genuine vacancies will be publicly announced through official channels. The last widely discussed recruitment process ran from 2024 into 2025, with applicants going through screening, interviews and training. EFCC roles remain highly competitive because the commission attracts graduates, HND holders, cybersecurity professionals, intelligence analysts, forensic investigators and administrative applicants nationwide. Prospective applicants should prepare their academic and identification documents, including their NYSC certificate, NIN and local government identification. Building skills in digital forensics, data analysis, financial investigation and intelligence gathering may also improve their chances. Applicants should not pay anyone or use unofficial recruitment portals. EFCC recruitment is merit-based, and applicants should wait for a verified public announcement before applying.
