Sunday Oliseh Denies Feud With Victor Osimhen: “How I Go Get Beef With Somebody Wey I No Know?”
Former Super Eagles captain Sunday Oliseh has denied having a personal issue with Victor Osimhen. He said his recent assessment of the Turkish Super Lig was a general opinion and was not directed at the Galatasaray striker. Oliseh said he has always rated Osimhen and had planned to invite him to the Super Eagles after Nigeria’s Under-17 World Cup triumph in 2015, during his time as national-team coach. The former midfielder insisted that reports suggesting animosity between them were wrong. He said he will continue to support Nigerian players who perform well for their clubs and the country.
