ADC Launches Membership Drive in Awka with Peter Obi and Amb. Lotanna
Amb. Ikebunwa Lotanna joined party leaders at Hollywood Event Center, Awka, for the flag-off of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) membership registration and revalidation exercise. The event was hosted by Anambra State Chairman Barr. Ben Chuks Nwosu and featured Peter Obi as Special Guest of Honour. Peter Obi addressed the gathering and reaffirmed his intention to run for president in 2027. He urged Nigerians, especially young and first-time participants, to register with the ADC. He assured supporters that the party will deliver credible leadership and a “New Nigeria.” Amb. Lotanna described the ADC as the party to beat ahead of the 2027 elections. He called on Ndi Anambra and all Nigerians to register and support the party. He also highlighted his work in Nnewi North, where he sponsored and furnished ten ward offices to strengthen grassroots structures. After the flag-off, party leaders moved to their wards for digital registration. Peter Obi went to Agulu, while Amb. Lotanna completed his own registration at Nnewichi Ward 1, underscoring his commitment to grassroots growth.
