A Prayer for Believers in Jesus Christ

Lord Jesus, thank You for carrying our grief, paying the price for our sins and giving us the riches of Your grace. Though we deserve nothing, You have made us members of God’s household and citizens of heaven. Thank You for the Holy Spirit, our ever-present help and the assurance of our inheritance in Christ. Fill every believer with peace that surpasses understanding. In trials, give us rest. In discouragement, renew our hope. In sadness, fill us with Your joy and strengthen us to resist temptation. Help us cast every care on You, trusting that You care deeply for us. In Jesus’ name, amen.
