NECO Releases 2026 SSCE Results: How Candidates Can Check Online
NECO has released the 2026 SSCE results for 1,371,992 candidates who sat for the examination. The council said 804,948 candidates, or 58.67 per cent, earned at least five credits including English Language and Mathematics. Candidates need their registration number and a NECO result-checking token. On the official NECO results portal, select the 2026 examination year and the correct examination type, enter the token and registration number, then select “Check Result.” Candidates whose results do not appear should confirm their examination details, token and registration number before trying again. NECO also advised candidates to avoid unofficial result-checking services and protect their examination details. The council recorded 1,496 malpractice cases in 2026, down from 3,878 in 2025.
