One Call, Twenty-Two Minutes to Live

One Call, Twenty-Two Minutes to Live

Episode One: The Call Rain began at 8:43 p.m. By 8:51, the Lekki–Epe Expressway was a sea of brake lights. Inside his sleek Mercedes, Ethan Cole loosened his tie and tried to stay calm as Afrobeats pulsed softly. An unknown number flashed on his phone. He ignored the first ring but answered the second. A calm female voice whispered, “You have twenty-two minutes to survive.” Then the line went dead. Scoffing at the prank, Ethan opened his messages. In bold text: LOOK INSIDE YOUR BACK SEAT. A chill crawled up his spine as he turned—and froze. A black bag he didn’t bring lay waiting behind him.

What do you think Ethan's unknown caller wants, and will he pick up before those twenty-two minutes run out?

Definitely seems like something serious, and time's ticking real fast before that call ends.

The description plunges us into tense atmosphere with Afrobeats clashing against ominous rain overhead.

I'm not convinced the mysterious call alone can carry a whole episode; we need stronger stakes or deeper character insight early on.

A quick tip could be adding small flashbacks or internal monologue to break the tension and deepen our connection to Ethan's panic.
