UNIZIK Alumni Propose ₦2m Awards Fund as Forest Security Service Seeks Partnership
The UNIZIK Giant Progressive Club has proposed a ₦2 million awards fund for outstanding graduating students across Nnamdi Azikiwe University’s campuses. The proposal was presented during a courtesy visit to Vice-Chancellor Prof. Ugochukwu Bond Stanley Anyaehie. The Vice-Chancellor welcomed the initiative and advised the club to work with the university committee responsible for student awards to ensure a fair distribution process. In a separate visit, the Anambra State Command of the Nigerian Forest Security Service sought collaboration with the university to protect its forest reserve from encroachment and environmental damage. The university pledged to support efforts to secure its land and forest resources.
