Protective Anger: Choosing Purity Out of Compassion

Anger can be healthy when it is directed at the harm sexual sin causes. Pornography, sexual abuse and unfaithfulness can damage marriages, trauma survivors and break relationships. This is not an excuse to judge others self-righteously. It is a call to recognise the human cost of sexual sin and to choose compassion, self-control and purity. Learning about these consequences can give moral weight to personal choices. Rather than seeing purity as a list of rules, believers can see it as a refusal to support what harms people and grieves God. “Be angry, and do not sin.” — Ephesians 4:26 Confession: I acknowledge that sex is sacred and designed by God for divine purposes. By His grace, I will honour its sanctity. Amen.
