Maresca Hails Enzo Fernández’s Winning Mentality After Manchester City Move
Manchester City manager Enzo Maresca has praised Enzo Fernández as a proven winner following the midfielder’s club-record move from Chelsea. Maresca said Fernández’s experience of winning the World Cup and Club World Cup would strengthen City’s new-look midfield. The club reportedly spent more than £300 million on Fernández, Elliot Anderson and Ayyoub Bouaddi. The manager said several City players had been eager for the transfer to happen, adding that Fernández is ready to play. Ruben Dias, Erling Haaland, Marc Guehi and Gianluigi Donnarumma will remain the team’s captains.
