APC Fixes 22 August Primaries for Delta, Kogi and Four Bye-Elections

The All Progressives Congress has fixed Saturday, 22 August 2026, for primaries to select candidates for restored State House of Assembly constituencies in Delta and Kogi, as well as legislative bye-elections in Gombe, Bauchi, Delta and Kano. The restored constituencies are Abraka, Isoko North II and Ughelli South II in Delta State, and Yagba West II in Kogi State. The bye-elections will cover Gombe/Kwami/Funakaye Federal Constituency in Gombe; Disina and Sakwa constituencies in Bauchi; Udu in Delta; and Dawakin Kudu in Kano. Expression of interest and nomination forms will be sold from 18 to 20 August. Screening, publication of results and appeals are scheduled for 21 August, while election appeals will hold on 24 August.
