Does Playing Hard to Get Create Attraction or Unhealthy Dating Patterns?
I have dated and been intimate with several Nigerian women, and I do not see that as an achievement. However, some experiences left me feeling ignored, rejected, or disrespected. I have noticed that some people become more interested when they feel they cannot fully have someone. This has made me wonder whether delayed replies, emotional distance, or showing interest in other people can make a partner chase harder. Still, I know these tactics can be manipulative and hurtful. Rather than deliberately making anyone feel inadequate, I think it is better to set boundaries, communicate clearly, and avoid relationships where respect is missing. Do you think playing hard to get creates genuine attraction, or does it only encourage unhealthy dating patterns?
