Two Berom Youths Gunned Down in Kyeng Village, Plateau State
On Sunday, May 10, suspected armed herders ambushed and shot two youths in Kyeng village, Bachi District, Riyom Local Government Area of Plateau State. The victims, Peter Dung (22) and Amos Bele Danbwarang (19), were killed around 7:20pm before the attackers fled into nearby bushes. The Berom Youth Moulders Association condemned the attack as barbaric and urged security agencies to bring the perpetrators to justice. It also called on government authorities to take decisive action and extended condolences to the families of the victims and the people of Bachi District.
