With less than 24 hours before the audition deadline, she submitted a self-tape from the United States and later learned that the production team had rewritten the character for her. Damasus described the production as demanding and said it pushed her to revisit her craft. The Kemi Adetiba series premiered in July 2025 and follows a man drawn into cybercrime after reconnecting with a childhood friend.
