Kidnapped Kaduna Couple Plead for Rescue as Bandits Demand ₦300m Ransom

Ahmed Abubakar Zakka, his wife and their six-month-old daughter were abducted from their home in Millennium City, Kaduna State, during an overnight attack on October 6. In a video released by the kidnappers, Zakka appealed for help, saying the family’s captors were demanding ₦300 million. A gunman was seen pointing a weapon at him as his wife also pleaded for their release. The attack is part of growing insecurity in Millennium City and nearby communities. Kaduna police say they have arrested 12 suspects during security operations and deployed additional personnel and equipment to the area.
