Did Jesus’ Death Remove Personal Accountability for Sin?

I believe Jesus did not remove individual accountability for sin. Each person will still answer for their own actions and face the consequences of wrongdoing. If you kill, steal, commit adultery or fornication, slander others, or misuse Scripture, you will pay for it. No one can use faith as an excuse to escape responsibility for personal choices. Ezekiel 18:3–9 teaches that the soul who sins shall die, while the person who lives justly shall live. The passage stresses personal righteousness, truth, compassion, and obedience to God’s commands. In my view, each person will live or face judgment individually.
