Edo Police Bust Kidnap Ring: Five Arrested, Woman Rescued in Jattu

Edo State Police Command arrested five suspected kidnappers in Jattu and freed a woman held captive. According to the police spokesperson, the suspects abducted 23-year-old Jemila Ibrahim on May 10. During bush-combing operations around Okpege River Road, Iyuku Community, officers rescued her unhurt on May 13. The suspects are in custody awaiting arraignment after investigations conclude. The Commissioner of Police commended the operatives and reassured residents of the command’s commitment to curbing kidnapping and violent crime in the state.
