Prof Yilwatda Consoles Kanam Emirate After Deadly Ambush
National Chairman of the APC, Prof Nentawe Yilwatda, has expressed deep sympathy to the people of Kanam Emirate in Plateau State after a recent ambush claimed over 20 lives. He visited the Emir, Alhaji Muazu Muhammad, to offer his condolences and stand with affected families. To ease immediate hardships, Prof Yilwatda coordinated the delivery of relief materials to vulnerable households in the Garga axis communities. He described the support as modest but vital for reassuring residents that they are not alone in these trying times. During the Hawan Daushe durbar held in Dengi as part of Eid al-Fitr celebrations, he joined traditional rulers and community members to celebrate resilience and unity. He urged renewed commitment to peace, security, and a future free from fear for every Kanam household.
