Attraction Is Human, but Fidelity Is a Choice
I saw a story about a married mother of four who became visibly distracted after meeting a woman she found very attractive in a keke. She admired the woman’s appearance, asked about her skincare routine and joked that she wished she were a man for a day. The incident made me think about the way we discuss attraction and infidelity. Marriage does not make other people unattractive, and feeling attracted to someone else does not automatically mean a person no longer loves their spouse. Temptation may be human, but cheating is still a decision. People should be honest about attraction while taking responsibility for the boundaries they keep.
