Visa Awards $45,000 to Three Women-Led Egyptian Startups

Visa has awarded a combined $45,000 to three women-led startups in Egypt through the fourth edition of its She’s Next programme. PraxiLabs received the top grant of $20,000 for its virtual science laboratory platform, which allows students to conduct simulated chemistry, physics and biology experiments. Up-Fuse won $15,000 for turning plastic waste into useful products, while Kennah received $10,000 for its growth-focused business model. The winners emerged from nine finalists selected from more than 2,500 applications. The programme also provided training, mentorship and market exposure to help participating founders strengthen their businesses. Visa says its She’s Next initiative has invested more than $3.8 million globally in women-owned businesses since 2020.
