Fuel Tanker Collision in Taraba Kills Nine, Including Soldier’s Wife and Children
Nine people have died after a fuel tanker collided with a passenger vehicle at Kabarin Bature village in Gashaka Local Government Area of Taraba State. The crash occurred on April 21, 2026. Seven passengers died instantly, and six others were taken to General Hospital, Bali, where two more later succumbed to their injuries. Among the victims are the wife and two children of a soldier currently deployed at FOB Buratai under Operation HADIN KAI. Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the accident, and the bodies have been deposited at the hospital mortuary.
