Warren G, born Warren Griffin III on November 10, 1970, is an American rapper, producer and DJ known for helping popularise West Coast G-funk in the 1990s. G Funk Era, also peaked at No. 2 in the United States and later received triple-Platinum certification. He followed it with albums including Take a Look Over Your Shoulder, I Want It All and The Return of the Regulator.
