Ologbondiyan: Atiku, Obi and Kwankwaso Can Still Form a 2027 Grand Alliance

Ologbondiyan: Atiku, Obi and Kwankwaso Can Still Form a 2027 Grand Alliance — 1 of 2
1 / 2

Kola Ologbondiyan says Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso still have a chance to form a broad opposition alliance ahead of the 2027 general election. He argues that their earlier departures from the ADC coalition came before talks had been concluded. The ADC media adviser says opposition parties should unite behind one candidate and pursue what he describes as a government of national unity. He also questions whether the PDP can still serve as an effective opposition after its internal divisions. Ologbondiyan says President Bola Tinubu’s biggest 2027 challenge will be Nigerians facing economic hardship, rather than opposition parties alone. He maintains that voters will judge the administration through their experiences with rising living costs and hardship.
