Senator Tony Nwoye has appealed for calm following reports of a clash between Aguleri and Umuoba Anam communities in Anambra East Local Government Area. He urged residents to avoid violence, allow law enforcement to maintain order and resolve their differences through dialogue. He warned that recurring conflict could lead to loss of lives, property and development opportunities. The senator also commended the Anambra East authorities for imposing a curfew and called on community leaders and other stakeholders to work towards lasting peace.
