Have You Received the Holy Spirit Since You Believed?

The outpouring of the Holy Spirit gave the early church power to preach Christ boldly. Through Peter’s message, thousands repented and were converted, and the gospel spread with an impact that people said had turned the world upside down. Jesus promised that He would not leave His followers without comfort. He promised the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth, who would dwell with believers and remain with them forever. At Pentecost, the disciples were filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke as the Spirit enabled them. Peter declared that those who repent and are baptised in the name of Jesus Christ will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The question remains: have you received the Holy Spirit since you believed?
