Kaduna ADC Suspends Chairman-elect and Secretary Over Alleged Anti-Party Activities
The Kaduna State chapter of the African Democratic Congress has suspended its Chairman-elect, Ben Bako, and State Secretary, Adamu Dattijo, over alleged insubordination, breach of trust and anti-party activities. The State Executive Committee said the officials failed to report back on campaign activities and allegedly withheld important correspondence from the party leadership. They were also accused of failing to transmit a letter on the composition of the party’s governorship campaign council. A five-member disciplinary committee has been set up to investigate the allegations and hear from both officials within 14 days. The party’s deputy chairman and deputy secretary will oversee its daily affairs during the suspension.
