Brock Lesnar Hails Nigeria’s Oba Femi as WWE’s Future After SummerSlam Defeat
Nigerian wrestler Oba Femi defeated Brock Lesnar in a Hell in a Cell match at SummerSlam night one, sealing the win with a second Fall from Grace. After the match, Lesnar returned to the ring, embraced Femi and raised his hand before telling the crowd that the Lagos-born star is “the future of WWE.” Femi, who joined WWE through its NIL programme in 2021, has continued his rapid rise after winning the NXT Men’s Breakout Tournament, the Iron Survivor Challenge and the King of the Ring.
