Osun NURTW Chair Seeks Protection, Denies Plot Against Governor’s Son
Kazeem Oyewale, acting chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers in Osun, rejects claims that he organised an attempt on Governor Adeleke’s son, B-Red. The state government and Commissioner for Information had alleged hoodlums under his command attacked the governor’s residence in Oke-Fia. Oyewale vows to pursue legal action for defamation. He has asked President Tinubu and the Inspector-General of Police to protect him and his members from what he describes as a campaign of falsehood and harassment. He also recalled the unresolved killing of his younger brother in November 2022 and reassured supporters that they will not be intimidated by further arrests or attacks.
