During a meeting with affected workers on July 8 in Awka, the delegation acknowledged recent payments for some employees and praised the VC’s proactive leadership. Prof. Anyaehie said his administration inherited the backlog but has made its clearance a top priority. He revealed plans to onboard another batch of staff soon, aiming for full inclusion of all eligible employees. The visit ended with the presentation of an appreciation plaque and jubilation over the progress achieved so far.
