Owerri to Host NNL’s 2026/2027 Annual General Meeting on August 21

Owerri, Imo State, will host the 17th Nigeria National League Annual General Meeting ahead of the 2026/2027 season. The meeting is scheduled for Friday, 21 August 2026. All 36 NNL clubs are expected to arrive in Owerri on 20 August and depart on 22 August. The venue will be announced later. NFF President Ibrahim Gusau, General Secretary Mohammed Sanusi and other football officials are expected to attend. Discussions will focus on the new season’s roadmap, club licensing and possible amendments to NNL rules and regulations.
