Winning the Battle Against Foolish Decisions
Our lives are shaped by the choices we make. Some decisions create opportunities, while others bring avoidable pain. Wisdom means pausing to ask not only, “Can I do this?” but also, “Should I do this, and where will it lead me?” Scripture calls believers to walk carefully and wisely. Before making an important choice, pray, consider the consequences, seek trustworthy counsel, control emotional reactions, and compare the decision with God’s Word. Do not let anger, fear, pride, pressure, or immediate pleasure control your judgment. A decision that is popular or convenient is not always the right one. It is often better to delay a decision than to rush into a mistake. May God give us sound judgment, patience, and the courage to follow His direction in every area of life.
