EACDA President Felicitates Prof. Akinwumi and Prince Otitoju on Unilorin Distinguished Alumni Awards
Elder Deinde Toyin Komolafe, National President of the Ekinrin-Adde Community Development Association (EACDA), has congratulated two illustrious sons of the community. Professor Olayemi Akinwumi, Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University Lokoja, and Prince Babajide Kolade-Otitoju, Director of Current Affairs at TVC Communications, were honoured as Distinguished Alumni of the University of Ilorin. The awards were conferred during the Award of Excellence and Investiture ceremony held as part of the university’s 50th anniversary celebrations. Elder Komolafe praised Professor Akinwumi’s remarkable contributions to education in Nigeria and abroad. He also lauded Prince Otitoju’s fearless investigative journalism and his consistent effort to shine a positive light on Ekinrin-Adde. According to the EACDA President, having two community members recognised by a prestigious institution underscores the excellence and value of Ekinrin-Adde. “This honour reaffirms the significant impact our people are making across various sectors,” he stated.
