Lagos Security Fund Donates Two Patrol Vehicles to NRC for Railway Protection
The Lagos State Security Trust Fund has donated two operational vehicles to the Nigerian Railway Corporation to support patrols, surveillance and rapid response along railway corridors in Lagos. The vehicles were handed over at Mobolaji Johnson Train Station in Ebute Metta. Officials said they would help security personnel tackle vandalism, theft and other threats to railway infrastructure and passengers. The NRC said the vehicles would be used strictly for railway security. It also disclosed plans by the Lagos State Government to rehabilitate roads within the railway compound, install solar streetlights and continue drainage works aimed at reducing flooding.
