Adeleke Extends UNIOSUN Vice-Chancellor’s Tenure by Two Years, Inaugurates New Council
Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has approved a two-year extension for Osun State University Vice-Chancellor, Professor Odunayo Clement Adebooye. The governor announced the extension while inaugurating the university’s reconstituted Governing Council. He said the decision would support continuity, strengthen governance and prevent disruptions to the institution’s administration. Professor Adewale Abiodun Oladipo was retained as Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council. Adeleke urged the council and university management to work together within the law and in the public interest. UNIOSUN management pledged to sustain the university’s growth and improve its standing among leading institutions in Nigeria and Africa.
