Sales Dropped After I Expanded My Clothing Business: Has This Happened to You?

Sales Dropped After I Expanded My Clothing Business: Has This Happened to You?

I run a clothing business, but most of the people who used to sell for me have stopped. That left me with piles of clothes and few options for moving them. I tried selling at Shoprite and other public places, but private organisations did not allow it. When I travelled to Ijebu Ode, I started marketing around the international stadium. The crowd was not huge, but I sold almost everything because my prices were low and I sold directly as the manufacturer. Encouraged by that success, I borrowed money, took a loan and bought clothes in large quantities from Lagos. But once I restocked, sales suddenly stopped. It feels like nobody is even noticing the same clothes that people were rushing before. Have you experienced this kind of sudden drop in sales after expanding a business? How did you recover?
