Udeze Urges Super Falcons to Raise Their Game Ahead of Cameroon Quarterfinal

Former Nigeria international Ifeanyi Udeze has urged the Super Falcons to improve their performances despite reaching the quarterfinals of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations. Nigeria sealed a place in the last eight with a 6-2 win over Egypt in their final Group C match. Asisat Oshoala, Gift Monday, Uchenna Kanu, Christy Ucheibe and Joy Omewa were among the scorers. Udeze said the reigning champions have not shown the usual intensity and hunger expected of the team. With a quarterfinal clash against Cameroon next, he believes the Falcons must raise their level to progress.
