Asagba of Asaba Urges Igbo Unity and Financial Independence for Ohanaeze

The Asagba of Asaba has called for greater unity among Igbo people at an Ohanaeze Ndigbo public enlightenment forum in Delta State. He urged Igbo subgroup associations to unite under Ohanaeze Ndigbo as the collective voice of Ndigbo. He also advocated the use of Igbo language during Ohanaeze meetings. The traditional ruler further called for financial independence for Ohanaeze, arguing that the group should not rely on funding from state governors.
