Falconets Ready for England Test in U-20 Women’s World Cup Last 16
Falconets captain Christiana Uzoma and forward Ramotalahi Kareem say Nigeria are ready to face England in Thursday’s FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup round-of-16 tie. Nigeria reached the knockout stage after finishing second in Group F with four points. The team bounced back from a defeat to Spain and a draw with China by beating New Caledonia 10-1, with Kareem scoring a hat-trick. Uzoma said the squad has a strong winning mentality and is not intimidated by England. Kareem urged Nigerians to support and pray for the team as they chase a place in the quarter-finals.
