Monaco Reportedly Pull Out of Chelsea’s £42m Move for Lamine Camara

Chelsea reportedly suffered a late setback in their bid to sign Monaco midfielder Lamine Camara before the summer transfer deadline. Monaco were said to have agreed to a £42 million deal for the Senegal international, but reportedly withdrew from the transfer shortly before the window closed. The reported reversal was linked to Monaco’s £40 million sale of Folarin Balogun to Everton. With that sale easing financial pressure, Monaco reportedly decided to keep Camara and retain their midfield depth.
