Super Eagles Goalkeeper Amas Obasogie Returns to Bendel Insurance on One-Year Deal
Super Eagles goalkeeper Amas Obasogie has returned to Bendel Insurance, signing a one-year contract with the Nigeria Premier Football League club. The 26-year-old former Bendel Insurance captain returns to Benin City after playing for Fasil Kenema in Ethiopia and Singida Black Stars in Tanzania. The club announced his signing on Monday. Obasogie said his time abroad helped him grow and that he is ready to give his all for the team and its supporters. He was part of Nigeria’s bronze-medal-winning squad at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations and has made one senior appearance for the Super Eagles.
