Scottish Brothers Ollie and Seb Fisher Target Uganda Youth Team Debuts
Scottish teenagers Ollie and Seb Fisher have been invited to train with Uganda’s youth national teams through their Ugandan-born mother. Ollie, an 18-year-old goalkeeper at Partick Thistle, joined Uganda’s Under-20 setup, while 16-year-old striker Seb trained with the Under-17 team. The brothers attended a training camp in Jinja after Uganda expressed interest in them. Under-20 coach and former Ghana international Laryea Kingston welcomed the pair. The brothers hope to earn competitive appearances, with Ollie targeting the Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations and Seb aiming for Uganda’s Under-17 World Cup squad. Their potential status as Uganda’s first white international players has not been independently confirmed, but both say representing the country would be a special milestone.
