Barcola Says Salah’s Legacy Isn’t Weighing on Him Despite Slow Liverpool Start
Liverpool winger Bradley Barcola says he is not feeling pressure from his £120 million transfer fee or from being seen as Mohamed Salah’s successor. He said the fee was not his decision and described Salah as a club legend, while insisting he wants to make his own mark at Liverpool. Barcola has yet to score in his first seven Premier League appearances and was goalless in Liverpool’s 1-0 defeat to Arsenal on November 1. He did, however, score a hat-trick in the club’s reported 3-1 Champions League win over LASK on October 14.
